Specially, preferential treatment for silver generation may have to be applied in all fields, as societies like South Korea which enter the period of rapid aging. Recently, efforts have been made in the design field to address these issues, and the concept of Universal design (UD) has risen from among these alternatives. Humanitarian care of UD coincides with the development of population policy in reaction to the worldwide phenomenon of population aging. Therefore, UD will have to be practically applied to elevate the quality of human life. Public Street Structures as a design tool has the most close relationship with human expect private space in civic environment field. This Public Street Structures is an important component that offers convenience to everybody while forming an image of the city via friendly communication between humans and the environment. Therefore, the effective application of Public Street Structures in UD promises to offer a new and agreeable environment, including necessary amenities, to everybody.
