A Study of the Disciplinary System of Design Psychology
As the domestic research on design psychology is still in an embryonic stage, the disciplinary system ot that has much room for further improvement. This paper firstly elaborates the basic concept of design psychology and its objects of study, which is divided into the designers mentality and the consumers mentality. Then the disciplinary system is explored on the basis of the objects of study. Besides, the framework of the contents of the system is drafted in accordance with different objects of study, which includes the principal part and the branch part. At last, the author point out that this theory should be combined with practical design and follow the principle of practicability as well, and the phenomena such as merely listing psychological nouns and copying psychological concepts blindly should be avoided.
