The Product Design For Old People Based on the Thought of Barrier Free

摘要：

China is a country with the most aged people in the word, they are facing empty nest, so the life independency and life quality of Chinese old people are becoming serious social problems. This paper explains the thought and method of barrier-free de- sign; describes one of the way to eliminate the physical environment and psychological barrier of old people is to develop new products according to different lifestyles of Chinese old people, so as to improve their life quality.
