A New Exploration into the Size and Structure of Office Furniture
This article analyzes the working state and gestures of office staffs and the reasons which bring about the staff members unhealthy postures. It indicates that the unreasonable design of the size of office tables and chairs and their structures are one of the main reasons of the induction of cervical and lumbar vertebra diseases. Based on the above analysis, this article probes into the distribution situation of the size data for different relevant part of body and the comfortable working postures according to the standard data of human body size, then accordingly puts forward the key geometrical design confirmation of office furniture and the principles of its structural design.
