To Impel the Innovation of Exterior Design With Puting to Use the Correct Design Idea and Design Research Approach
With the entrance in WTO, the patent problems become more and more gradually. During these problems, some are due to imitation; some are due to inexact patent appraisal. As a designer, to solve the problem of exterior design patent completely need the deep comprehension of the related laws, rules. And also we need to put to use the correct design idea and design research approach, function, product style, culture and so on. The thesis is first at the point of the patents definition, scope, traits and so on to explain the exterior design, at the point of law to comprehend the protection of the exterior design, at the point of law to avoid the imitation. And then it shows the feeling of the method that how to solve the problem of exterior imitation through the actual design analysis at the aspects of function, style and culture of the product.
