Error Analysis of Structure Design of Micro-impulse Measurement with Torsion Pendulum
It is necessary to measure Micro-impulse for evaluating the performance of laser micro-thruster. The principle of micro-impulse is introduced, the sensibilities of parameters impacting impulse measurement and system error are analyzed. Under typical experimental datum of structure design, the result of numerical calculation shows that moment of inertia, the length of torsion arm and damping vibration period are the most sensitive which reaches the accuracy request of impact pendulum system whose relative error is below 5%.
