The Green Consciousness Embodied in the Traditional Demiurgic Thought
Based on the green design confronted with the social background, this paper expounds the green consciousness in the traditional demiurgic view from the perspective of the Chinese traditional demiurgic idea development. This green consciousness exists in the ancients thought, such as material utility to be the purpose of its existence, perfection to achieve and the way of correspondence between man and the tendency. It is aimed to discuss these three ideas respectively, holding forth the points that the first traditional demiurgic view is the premise of the green design, that the traditional ethic standard of perfection is the reappearance of the green design ethical need and that the last idea here is the ideal perfection of the green design. Through the discussion of these three viewpoints on the traditional demiurgic thought, it can be summarized that the traditional demiurgic view reflects the respect to the natural environment and life. Meanwhile, it is also hoped that the analysis on the traditional demiurgic view will make the past serve the present effectively.
