Bamboo Arts and Crafts Development under Green Design Concept
Along with global environmental and resource problems continuously appearing, it is more and more important to protect environment, so green design becomes the tendency of future design development. Bamboo arts and crafts are made of bamboo materials, which is a green material of environmental protection, something renewable and easily degradation. Bamboo arts and crafts are accordance with the major tendency of international green design development. This paper has analyzed the feature of green design and its development tendency as well as the characteristics of bamboo design and designs. From the modern development of arts and crafts perspective, this paper discusses design method of bamboo arts and crafts under green design concept.
