Design and Implementation of Laser Side Focus System
In laser propulsion, the application of multi - reflecting laser focus system is limited to some extent because of its difficult process and strict coaxial requirements in installation and debugging. Beginning with analyzing beam path design principles of several typical focus systems home and abroad, we put forward a laser side focus system. The equations of reflecting surfaces are established, and methods for process, installation and debugging of the system are presented. The results show: laser side focus system is easy to process and convenient to adjust. It successfully realizes the breakdown of air and is well applied in the experiment of researching plasma characteristics. This paper provides study thought and design method for laser focus system design in engineering technique field.
