Fiber morphology analysis of soybean protein fiber and wool in the blended product

For dyed wool/terylene/soybean protein fiber, the morphology of soybean protein fiber were analyzed by respectively treated with 10% sodium hypochlorite, 20% hydrochloric acid, 36% hydrochloric acid in this paper. The results show that the soybean protein fiber possesses non-smooth, groove, bubble-shape foreign substance and remoteness hole in longitudinal direction; the soybean protein fiber becomes finer treated with 20% hydrochloric acid, 36 % hydrochloric acid; the soybean protein fiber divides into some finer fibers treated with 10% sodium hypochlorite; this is the reason for lowgrade flokkit through chemistry and friction of finishing, resulted in bad non-crease, easy fuzz of soybean protein fiber and wool in the blended product. For dyed wool/terylene/soybean protein fiber, dyed wool/terylene exhibits dark color, but soybean protein fibers exhibit light color. This is the result of two constituents structure of soybean protein fiber.
