Study on the shape and position of weak-link of the domestic wool
The weak-link existing in wool fiber will affect the fiber length and length distribution in the top. And it can result in the decrease of limit count and yarn strength, and the increase of fuds and breakage. Then the rate of finished products will be decreased and the cost of product will be improved. Aiming at the above problem, the shape and position of weak-link of domestic wool and the major cause are studied. Through a great deal of test to many kinds of domestic wool by hand, the conclusion is that the weak-link of domestic wool mostly exist in the root of the wool. Analyze the domestic wool and Australian wool simultaneously and draw a conclusion, the growth factor mainly causes to the weak-link of the wool.
