The effect of PIT fibers form specifications on the elasticity of knitted fabric
In this paper, the elasticity stretch, elasticity recoverability, plastic deformation and anti-fatigue properties of PTT staple fiber fabrics, DTY filament fabrics and PTT/PET two-component paratactic composite filament fabric were analyzed using KES test, and their performances were compared with spandex and ordinary chemical fiber fabric (polyester, nylon fabric). We find that the elasticity stretch of various kinds of PTT fabrics is longer than that of ordinary chemical fiber fabric, but shorter than that of spandex fabric; Their recover performances are all lower than ordinary chemical fiber fabric and the plastic deformation are all bigger than ordinary chemical fiber fabric under low load; The elasticity stretch of PTT/PET two- component paratactic composite filament fabric is the longest and the recover performance is the best among three forms of PTT knitted fabric. However, the recover performance of PTT staple fiber fabrics is the worst, but the plastic deformation is the biggest. Therefore, the elastic properties of PTT fiber fabric from different form specifications were determined, in order to provide referenced data for the application of PTT staple fiber, PTT filament and PTT/PET composite fiber.
