Study on the mechanism of stretch-breaking wool
The stretch-breaking processes of stretch-breaking wool and different parameters influencing performance index of the stretch-breaking wool are mainly discussed in this paper. By using the orthogonal design, the stretch-breaking schemes are established. According to the tested results on the properties of the stretch-breaking wool for each scheme, the parameters of stretch-breaking processes are optimized by the fuzzy decision-making; The optimized parameters of process and the optimized stretch- breaking scheme have been also determined. The length difference of blending wool and other fibers using cotton machines may be solved by the process of stretch-breaking wool and provide a foundation for spinning high quality wool yarn and producing wool- cotton fabric.
