Study on thermodynamics of stoichiometric displacement theory for disperse dyes solubilized dyeing to wool by auxiliary
The adsorption isotherms for Disperse Blue 2BLN on the wool fibre surface at 366K were studied by the Langmuir adsorption isothermal equation and the stoichiometric displacement theory for adsorption (SDT-A) in liquid/solid system. The results showed that plot by SDT-A for them was a good linear relationship, the influence of dyeing auxiliaries on adsorption of dye was described very well with the liner parameters β<,a> and q/z of SDT-A ,and the affinity (net) adsorption free energy, ΔG<,A>; the (net) desorption free energy, ΔG<,D> and the total Gibbs free energy, ΔG<,P> for dyes in different dyeing auxiliary systems were caculated by these linear parameters. Compared with Langmuir adsorption model, the SDT-A model was better at explaining experimental facts, and the mechanisms for dyeing were explored in deeper degree.
