The anti-felting performance of the cashmere fiber cross linked by sericin protein intensified by plasma
The plasma technology was used to intensify the sericin protein cross linking to the cashmere fiber. The effect of plasma treatment on intensifying sericin protein absorption and on improving the cashmere fiber anti-felting performance was discussed. The optimum technique parameters (pressure, time, power) of plasma treatment in favor of sericin absorption and improving the cashmere fiber anti-felting performance were determined. The result showed that the sericin protein absorption on the cashmere fiber and the anti-felting performance of the cashmere fiber were improved further at an appropriate plasma treated condition. This finishing technology is an environmental friendly green ecological felt proofing technique, and has good application prospects.
