The anti-felting property of wool treated by the atmospheric pressure plasma technique
The atmospheric pressure plasma technique is employed to wool to improve the hydrophilicity and anti- felting property. The results show that the atmospheric pressure plasma can improve the hydrophilicity of wool fabrics obviously effectively. The power level of plasma can affect the result deeply, the higher level of power, the more excellent hydrophilicity and durability gain. The plasma/Resin SP210 process obtained the best result of anti- felting, which can meet the Machine Washable requirement.
