Fuzzy Logic and PI Control of Switched Reluctance Motor Drive
The paper presented the developed Switched Reluctance motor drive with the fuzzy logic and PI rotor speed closed-loop control. The block diagram of the Switched Reluctance motor drive with the fuzzy logic and PI rotor speed closed-loop control was given. The principles of the fuzzy logic plus PI rotor speed closed-loop control strategy were also given. The fuzzy logic control algorithm and PI control algorithm were described. The two input parameters, one output parameter, the domains and the factor in the fuzzy logic control algorithm were also described. The tested results of the developed prototype were also given with the rotor speed curves at starting, removed loads, added loads and the phase current waveforms. It was shown that the developed prototype has the well dynamic performance and the well steady performance.
