Research of Stability for a Flying Saucer Model With a Time Delay Feedback

On the basis of polynomial theory, this paper discusses the stability of a flying saucer, which is a typical of time-delay dynamic systems in engineering. The paper handles a new method to research the stability of this system. The analysis focuses on the stability switches of the system with increase of the time delay from zero to infinity. This system has five parameters. By the discussion, the paper presents the conditions that these parameters must satisfy to make the system stable in time delay range.
