A Self-Turning Control Algorithm for Dual-Rate Systems
In a dual-rate system, the output sampling interval is an integer multiple of the control interval, a model-based self-turning control scheme which uses a fast-rate model to estimate the intersample outputs has been proposed and then apply them to a controller design. The output tracking error at the output sampling instants has the property of minimum variance. It has been shown that the control algorithm can keep the stability and globally convergence of closed loop systems. A simulation example illustrates the effectiveness of the self-turning scheme.
