H2 Control for T-S Fuzzy Systems: an LMI Approach
This paper defines an H2 norm of a linear parameter dependent varying (LPV) system as the supremum of the average output variance norm to stochastic white noise. Then, based on the definition and some quadratic stability conditions, an H2 performance-oriented control scheme for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) systems by finding an upper bound of the H2 norm is proposed. Within the framework of T-S fuzzy model and PDC control design, the fuzzy controller which guarantees the closed-loop system global stability and a certain H2 performance can be derived by solving the optimization problem under a set of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs).
