Ambiguity Function Analysis of Bubble Signals in Non-ideal Oscillation
Based on the non-ideal bubble oscillation model, bifurcation parameters from periodic behavior to chaos are determined, and the ambiguity functions of the system variable signals are computed with the computation results. By utilizing the ergodicity of chaotic signals, ambiguity functions and corresponding diagrams during the course of period doubling bifurcation are presented respectively. The results show that the diagram of period one signal is like that of the single frequency sine wave with rectangular envelope, and with the increase of signal complexity the diagrams change to thumb sharp shape gradually. The chaotic signals in non-ideal bubble oscillation have high range and velocity resolution, which provides theory basis for designing underwater detection signals with high detecting performance.
