Reliable Guaranteed Cost Control of Linear System with Adaptive Mechanism
This paper presents a reliable guaranteed cost controller scheme with adaptive mechanism for linear system with uncertain actuator faults. Based on the on-line estimation of eventual faults, the adaptive reliable controller parameters are updating automatically to compensate the fault effect on system without the need for an FDI (Fault Detection and Isolation) mechanism. In the framework of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) approach, the stability of the closed-loop systems is guaranteed and the performance index is optimized even in the presence of faults. Benefits of the proposed design are demonstrated using a numerical example and its simulations.
