Flight Control for Hovering a Tandem Rotor Helicopter Based on Fuzzy Neural Networks
This paper concerns flight control for hovering a tandem rotor helicopter. Considering on nonlinearity and MIMO features of the tandem rotor helicopter, the flight control system has been divided into four individual subsystems. And a fuzzy-neural networks (FNW) controller for each subsystem can be designed by fuzzy rules and four layers neural networks. Furthermore, an elevation command tracking control in hovering a tandem rotor helicopter is designed by using this FNW control, and the corresponded fuzzy weights are updated by a gradient learning algorithm, which makes the close-loop system self-adaptation. Finally an elevation commanding tracking example verifies the obtained conclusion.
