A New Improved Prony Based Identification Method for Synchronous Generator Parameters
The Paper uses Prony algorithms to identify parameters of synchronous generators by finite sampling data from three-phase short-circuit currents. An improved Prony algorithm is proposed to overcome shortcoming of the basic Prony algorithm. The presented method optimizes synthetically order of the exponentially fitting model, data sample time interval and sample number, which can find good estimate values of in sense of minimum norm minimum least square error. Through identifying parameters of an example generator, the identified results demonstrate that the presented method is valid and accurate.
