Impulsive Synchronization of Generalized Van der Pol Oscillators

The present paper is mainly concerned with the issues of impulsive control for synchronization of chaotic generalized Van der Pol oscillators. By using practical stability theory on impulsive dynamical systems, some less conservative conditions are established for synchronization of two different generalized Van der Pol oscillators via impulsive control with fixed impulsive interval time. Moreover, an allowable upper bound of impulsive intervals can be given. To this end, a typical chaotic generalized van der Pol oscillator is used as an example to illustrate and also visualize the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control techniques.
