Fuzzy Edge-Sensitive Noise Reduction Algorithm

摘要：

Edge preservation is an important task of noise reduction algorithms. In this paper, a fuzzy edgedirection detector first is introduced, and then a fuzzy edge-sensitive noise reduction filter is proposed. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can obtain better results than Adelmanns and Russos FIRE filter, in respect of impulse noise and Gaussian noise smoothing.
