Research on Dynamic Recrystallization Behavior and Microstructure Evolution of Mn-Cu Weathering Steel

Dynamic recrystallization behavior of Mn-Cu weathering steel were studied using a MMS-100 thermomechanical machine. The experimental results show that deformation temperature, strain rate, and deformation amount have important effect on thermal deformation behavior. Stress exponent n and activation energy Q were determined as 5.48 and 332.7 Kj/mol respectively by regression analysis, and the relation of critical strain and Zener-Hollomon parameter was also determined.
