The Comparison of Hot Deformation Behaviors of Ultra-low Carbon Steel in Austenitic Region and Ferritic Region
The experiments of multi-pass austenitic and ferrite hot deformation of ultra-low carbon steel were carried out on hot simulation machine in order to study different hot deformation behaviors between austenitic deformation and ferrite deformation. The research results have shown that different hot deformation characteristics exist in austenitic zone and ferrite zone for ultra-low carbon steel. The research results in the paper provide the theoretic basis for application of this new metal processing technology in the industry production.
