Study of Photocatalytic Performance of TiO<,2> Coatings
Titanium dioxide photocatalytic coatings were prepared on Al plate matrix by Czochralski method. Different binders and different TiO<,2> contents were utilized with the aim to reveal their influence on microstructure and photocatalytic performance of the coatings. The microstructure of the coatings was characterized by scanning electron microscope. The corrosion resistance was measured by cyclic corrosive method. The photocatalytic performance of the coatings was evaluated through analyzing photocatalytacal degradation of edible oil. Results showed that the coating prepared by silica gel extrude fine corrosion resistance ability, fine degradable ability and bactericidal ability, the higher contents of TiO<,2>, the better the photocatalytacal degradation and bactericidal, the degradation rate of edible oil reached 70% in 10 hours illumination.
