Preparation and Studies on the Properties of Acrylic Resin/TiO<,2>-SiO<,2> Hybrid Materials
Acrylic resin/TiO<,2>-coated SiO<,2> organic- inorganic hybrid materials were prepared by TiO<,2>- SiO<,2> network in-situ forming within acrylic copolymer through sol-gel process. The structure and properties of the hybrid materials were investigated by using FT-IR, TEM, UV-Vis and TG-DSC. It is proved that Acrylic resin/TiO<,2>-coated SiO<,2> hybrid materials have excellent shielding effect for UV radiation and good thermal stability by the investigation.
