An Intrusion Detection System Model Based on Mathematical Statistics & Immune Principle
The detailed analyses have been made on the Immune principle. The intrusion detection systems based on Immune principle are introduced. In particular, the algorithm of pattern matching about character strings has been improved by applying mathematical statistic to HAMMING distance. The improved algorithm is superior to the r-sequence matching algorithm in detecting. Moreover, neural network algorithm has been added into a new immune model. Through the improvement, and the non-linearity and adaptability of model has also been advanced. The experiment result has proved.
