Research and Application of Intelligent Digital Control System on Rolling Mill
Rolling mill is the main equipment in steel production. It can roll all kinds of required plates. Because the continuous and safe running has important impact in the production process, it is strongly needed in its reliability and accuracy. The development of computer and intelligent technology provides a good applying terrace for the high quality controlling of the rolling. Based on the exploration and demonstration of the same kind equipments and discussion with WUST, WuYang steel works decided to regenerate the old transmission system of its rolling mill. This plan has integrated in its own character and utilized advanced intelligent control technology. This programmer was finished by the teamwork of school and factory in November 2004.
