Performance of Max-Log-MAP Adaptive Detection for LDPC Coded MIMO-OFDM System
This paper proposes a Maximum Logarithm Posteriori Probability (Max-Log-MAP) algorithm adaptive detection that combines the Maximum a Posteriori Probability (MAP) detection with the adaptation of the number of the iterative decoding for Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) coded Multiple-Input Multiple- Output (MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. MAP estimation criterion to MIMO-OFDM system has a better performance and prohibitively large amount of computational complexity. Then, the paper proposes Max-Log-MAP adaptive detection that considers decoding performance and speed. The simulation result shows that the proposed decoding algorithm can reduce the complexity of the channel estimation without the loss of performance. Moreover, the proposed scheme is proved to decrease the number of the iteration and increase decoding speed.
