Analysis on the Relative Sizes of Test Model for Deep Foundation Excavation Using ANSYS

Dealing with the test model of the cantilever sheet pile wall structure in the work of deep foundation excavation, a finite element application software, ANSYS, is employed to calculate a large number of cases, to analyze the test models relative sizes, such as the length, the width, the inserted depth, the reserved depth and so on, and to estimate the stress errors of the structure and the displacement errors of the walls top and the walls body, which are caused by the structures relative sizes. At last, according to the errors analysis, a suggested table of the relative sizes is referred to various kinds of soil material.
