Numerical Simulation for the Sheet Pile Walls with ANSYS
Finite element application software, ANSYS, is employed to calculate and analyze the model of the sheet pile walls in deep excavation engineering. The isograph of soil displacement, the distribution map of active pressure, the crack depth between the wall and sail, and the settlement influence areas radius of the cantilever sheet pile wall have been gained successfully. It has also been proved that the tie rod force (F) of anchored sheet pile wall would strongly influence soil settlement. The simulation results provide quite valuable reference for the design and construction of the deep excavation engineering.
