METHODOLOGIES FOR RECTIFICATION OF CONSISTENCY IN OVERLAPPING AREAS IN VIRTUAL SCENE
This paper proposes novel methodologies to overcome the difficulties of perspective consistency and brightness consistency in the overlapping areas of virtual scene, with which the mosaic-based method is facing. First. the methodologies of panning around focus in a certain step and projection reconstruction are proposed to implement the images interpolation and seemless stitching satisfying perspective consistency. Second, the method of minimizing max of method of least squares of three basic color histogram based on matching perspective consistency in overlapping areas is proposed to rectify brightness consistency. The novel method needs not complex matrix computing, consequently is helpful for improving the practical capability of virtual scene reconstruction Finally the case study of campus panorama with rectified visual consistency is given to demonstrate the novel methodologies feasible.
