It has reviewed the technical development of silver- containing antimicrobial agents and their application in materials of plastics products textile, packaging, ceramics, coating, and paper. The application of antimicrobial materials covers home appliances, telecommunication, kitchen ware, toilets, daily utility. Discussion also relates the discipline of development in this field.
