THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE EUROPEAN HIGH-SPEED TRAIN NETWORK

摘要：

This article examines the possibilities to consider a spatial planning for Europe based on the advent of the High-Speed Train, which has given a new life to rail transportation. The introduction of this new means of transport allows us to imagine a European megacity composed of many cities of different sizes connected by a high-speed network.
