The thermal performance of wall surface materials in Beijing and the building energy consumption
The exterior wall surface is the first protection of resisting outdoor climate. Its thermal performance can affect directly the thermal performance of the exterior wall. The long wave emittances (ε) and solar radiant absorptances (ρs) of the wall surface materials are the main factors affecting thermal performance of the wall on the analysis of heat transfer in the exterior wall in this paper; The coefficient ε and ρs of exterior wall surface materials and the building energy consumption is analyzed by software DeST; In this paper end, the methods of choosing exterior wall surface materials that is good for energy saving are given in this paper on the results of software DeST analysis.
