An Analysis of Human capital and Chinese Regional Economic Growth Convergence

摘要：

Based on the convergence hypothesis of neoclassical growth theory, this paper analyzes the reasons of human capital factor growth among provinces in China and carries out an empirical analysis on the convergence hypothesis. Our research shows that the distribution of Chinas human capital exhibits obvious regional characteristics. Controlled the human capital, we find that the conditional convergence is identified. Therefore, we can say that the human capital is playing the vital role in the economy growth convergence in China.
