Desertification Control by Establishing a Company

摘要：

An illiterate farmer, who has been lived in desert areas for nearly 40 years, has constructed a green shelter-belt of 26km long and 6km width on the southern edges of Mu Us Sandy land through the way of joint contract, setting up company of joint-stock style, exercising new scientific method of desert controlling, and tracking in a model of combination of farming, forestry, animal husbandry and herb planting, and coexistence of planting, breeding and processing. A green village with patches of irrigable lands and nets of trees has appeared with good ecological, economic and social benefits, surrounded with an oasis which was barren desert lands with an area of about ten hectares in former days.
