Free Radical Scavenging Activity of Ganoderma lucidum Polysaccharides Peptide (GLPP) in the Mice Peritoneal Macrophages
The scavenging effects on free radicals of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides peptide (GLPP) were investigated. Alloxan and tert-butylhydroperoxide (t- BOOH) were used as an oxidant to injury mice peritoneal macrophages in vivo or in vitro respectively. 2, 7-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (DCHF-DA) was used as fluorescent probe. The fluorescence from cells was observed under the confocal microscope. Time series scan of confocal microscope was used to observe the changes of fluorescence by GLPP in mice peritoneal macrophages. The result showed that GLPP had free radical scavenging activity in the mice peritoneal macrophages.
