Studies on the Influence of Acid-soluble Alkali Polysaccharide of Ganoderma on the Bloodsugar of the Experimental Diabetes Mice
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of acid-soluble alkali polysaccharide of Ganoderma on the experimental mice. All animals were modeled with diabetes by using pyrimidine tetra- oxide. They were divided into four groups, which include the control and three experimental groups. The experimental animals were fed with different doses of preparation. Those are 16.7mg/kg, 33.3mg/kg and 66.7mg/kg. The water-soluble neutral polysaccharides of Ganoderma have also been tested and compared with the acid soluble group. The results show the acid-soluble alkali polysaccharide has the effect of lowing blood-sugar, on the experimental animals compared with the control, the differences were significant (P<0.05, P<0.01). The effect of acid-soluble alkali polysaccharide is better than that of water-soluble polysaccharide. The different is significant (P<0.05).
