Studies on Antitumor Effects of Total Triterpenes from Ganoderma lucidum
Antitumor effects and mechanism of total triterpenes were studied. By suppressing trials of tumor cells cultivated in vitro and in vivo, we reviewed the effects of total triterpenes on tumor cells. The results showed that total triterpenes have evident suppressing effects on proliferation of tumor cells SW620, LS180, S180 in vitro. The experimental therapeutic result of antitumor showed that total triterpenes had significant inhibitory effects on Lewis lung cancer in vivo, promoted IL-2 creation and immunoactive effects of NK cell in mice loaded with Lewis lung cancer. In conclusion, the tumor suppressing effects of total triterpenes may be related to direct cytotoxicity and activation of immunity system.
