Views on Low Efficiency in Chinas English Education

摘要：

At an English education conference held in Nanjing last March, a professor representing China College English Education Association launched his complaint against criticisms that Chinese teachers of English should be responsible for the low efficiency in English language teaching in China. Though I did not know the whole story as I happened to be absent at the very moment, and was relayed by my friend about this event. I showed sympathy with this professor and could not help expressing my own views here.
