Inter-accelerations for Introverted Foreign-language Learners in Classroom Cooperative Language Learning
Introversion and cooperative learning have been discussed a lot with the developing attention paid to the student-centered foreign-language learning classroom. This paper focuses on how introverted foreign-language learners (IFLLs), being reserved and self-restrained, benefit from classroom cooperative language learning (CCLL). CCLL can offer better affective effects for IFLLs, providing a positive affective environment, helping to develop self- concept and improving sociability. These affective benefits then make IFLLs participate more in the classroom, speak out, and improve their language ability. With these developments, they can be more and more brave participant. In this inter- accelerating way, a fine circulation can be formed specially for IFLLs. The features of IFLLs and CCLL, and some advice for teachers is also mentioned in this paper.
