A Novel Evolutionary SISO Multiuser Detection for Synchronous DS——CDMA System
In this paper, a novel soft-input/soft-output (SISO) multiuser detection (MUD) has been presented for the synchronous direct-sequence code-division multiple-access (DS-CDMA) system. It has two stages: a prior information estimation computed by evolutionary algorithm based on the optimum MUD, a near optimal SISO MUD based on maximum a posterioriprobability (MAP) algorithm. Unlike the turbo receiver the new one has no iteration, but it has a simplified structure which can be used in coded and uncoded CDMA.The simulation shows it has nearly 1dB enhancement than some traditional MUD.
