The Application of a Grey-neutral Combined Model to Landslide Forecast
Theories of grey and neural network have been widely used to landslide forecast, but models based on only a theory of them were often used; GM(1,1) and BP neural network models were introduced and a new grey-neutral combined model for forecasting landslide was created in this paper. Procedures of this combined model are as follows : GM(1,1) model is used for forecast at first and then the forecasting results of GM(1,1) are used as the input to BP neural network to do simulation, relevant forecasting results of this combined model, which are the practical forecasting values, can be obtained. This combined model was used for forecasting the displacement deformation of a landslide in this paper, from the forecasting results, it was shown that this combined model has a high accuracy and computation speed, the advantage of needing fewer samples was also found from the results. So this grey-neutral combined model is effective and feasible for landslide forecast.
