Face Recognition Based on Image Pre-processing and Gabor Feature

摘要：

A face recognition method based on image pre-processing and Gabor feature is put forward in this paper. By this method, face image is firstly pre-processed and standardized in order to remove some influence of illumination, so that facial feature would be more easily extracted. Then, Gabor is used to extract facial feature, in that way, the influence of facial expression would be removed. To some extent, this method could help restraining the influence of gesture. The result of experiment shows that this method could raise the success rate of face recognition.
