Mining Decision Rules Based on In-sim-dominance Relations
Many decision analysis problems involve qualitative attributes, quantitative attributes, and criteria together. Then, three relations, I.e., indiscernibility, similarity and dominance can be defined on qualitative attributes, quantitative attributes, and criteria, respectively. In order to construct a comprehensive preference model for the problems, based on the in-sim-dominance relation proposed by Greco, et al., the discernibility-similarity-dominance matrix and its functions are presented to induce the decision rules. Further analysis of the obtained rule set is made to interpret and use it more easily.
